People have been blogging about that all day. And blogging that other providers have provided IMAP for their web based email for some time. So I won't mention all that.
I have noticed that I got my option sometime after 7 pm today and after configuring it on my Motorola Q using these instructions, there are some things I will have to get used to.
Things like when I delete messages from my inbox on the Q, they leave the inbox in my Gmail account and go to "All Mail" or delete.
It doesn't "push" email though... and that was one thing I was kind of hoping for.
One step at a time Google, one step at a time...
